Although she trusted the reputation of her school and believed it was just a name change, Halis continued her studies for four years, never suspecting that her efforts would go unrewarded. Despite having fulfilled all the requirements and having paid for her degree, the school authorities refuse to deliver it. This situation has become an obstacle for the young woman, since she had a job related to her career that now requires her title.
Desperate to resolve this situation, Halis decided to investigate on her own and discovered that her Normal School did not have the degree that she had studied. In this way, she realized that she had invested time and effort in a career that, in reality, did not officially exist.
“The school I studied at had 300 people studying a degree that did not exist, that was not registered, that was not official,” Halis stated in her video. Furthermore, she expressed her frustration at the reality that education in our country is a luxury and that she has invested so much in a career that turned out to be an illusion.
The young woman has sought help and has gone to the corresponding authorities in search of a solution. However, so far it seems that her only option would be to take legal action, although she is reluctant due to the lack of support and disagreement from her fellow students.
This story highlights the difficulties that many students face in their quest for a quality education. We hope that Halis finds a fair solution and that her experience serves as a wake-up call to improve the education system in our country.
